Shell and Butterfly 11×14 Print

Description

These two pieces are a combination of elements and layers. The snail and butterfly are photographs taken in France and Como Park in St. Paul. The handwriting in the background is more interesting. My great great grandparents were Finnish immigrants who ran a boarding house out west around the late 1800’s. They kept a ledger of all the boarders they accommodated. I scanned this ledger, which is all in Finnish, and it appears as the handwriting you see.
